  Hands, Sword form.

Angeles area can also be arranged for private classes.

*Class description: Classes start with warm up exercises based on Qigong continuing with instructions in Tai Chi Chuan Yang form.

The Short Yang form (60 movements) for beginners following Grandmaster William C. C. Chen’s teachings.
Advanced beginners will combine the Short form with breathing
exercises and the application of single positions for self-defense.
Advanced students get Form refinement instructions.

The Long Yang form (128 movements) is the traditional form, better suited for advanced students.

The Sword Yang form (64 movements) accentuates the direction and energy of the movements based on the principles of body mechanics by William C. C. Chen.

The basic principle of Pushing Hands (Tui-Shou) is the balance between Ying and Yang, the liberation of the body from tension and violence. It focuses on the “hearing” of the partner in order to foresee all of his movements. The student learns to stress the right execution and coordination of movements in order to achieve efficient and economical use of energy.
